Riley and Payton getting more chicken feed from Uncle Raymond

Jerilynn's got one, now it's Payton's turn!

Still trying!

I think you've got one, Payton!

I love the look on his face! (Payton's, not the chicken!)

Even a better face!

Riley is a little nervous, but she's trying!

Payton caught a little one!

Almost!

Just Grab It, Riley :)

Yay!  She caught one!

Another one for Payton

I Like Eggs!

Love the "J&A" Rabbit Ranch sign!  The Chicken Coop one is pretty good, too!

Feeding them even more food so Riley can keep trying to catch one!

Here Chickie, Chickie!

Ohhhhh..... GOT IT!  Way to go, Riley!

Hold on tight!

Payton is so excited that you caught one!

He's still cheering for you!  Go, Riley!

The Look of Accomplishment!

Cock-A-Doodle-Do!

Posing for a pcture!

Payton in the rabbit hutch.

This is a strange sight!  This chicken is called a naked neck, believe it or not!

Can you believe she will be '96' in just a few weeks???

Anderson's Christian Radio Station, WQME 98.7 is Wonderful!

In April, I won 2 tickets to see Mercy Me, Natalie Grant, and Brandon Heath all together at Emen's Auditorium on Ball State campus.  As soon as the tickets came in the mail, I called TicketMaster to see if there were any seats available close to the ones that I won.  Can you believe that there were 2 just two seats away from ours?  Amazing!  God is Good!

Once I purchased the extra 2, we started planning for a fun family night in Muncie.  We didn't tell the kids because we wanted it to be a surprise.  We were actually able to keep the secret going until right before we were ready to leave!  Then they were so excited to get to go with us.

The entire show was great!  The best part was getting a picture taken with Natalie Grant and getting her autograph.

Payton's 3rd Grade Class is All 'Jazzed' Up!

For the 3rd grade music program this year, they did a tribute to the great Jazz Musicians throughout music history.  Plus, they added a little modern magic to it as well.

The next 2 posts are video highlight from this 'jazzy' night!

Move Over High School Musical... Make Way For The 5th Grade Musical!

One of fun things that 5th graders get to do at our school is perform in the 5th Grade Musical.  It's kind of like a right of passage before heading off to Middle School.  The kids try out for parts and everyone who came to try-outs was casted into the musical.  They met after school two days a week and worked very hard.  The musical directors were absolutely wonderful, Alicia and Angie are Instructional Assistants at the school and they dedicated so much time, patience, and work into the kids.

This years musical of choice was "101 Dalmatians."  Riley played the part of Anita, one of the owners the dalmatians Pongo and Perdita.  It was a lot of fun to watch the kids put on such an amazing musical up on the big stage in the high school auditorium.  It was obvious that they were having as much fun on the stage as we were watching them!

I will post pictures and video here soon.

What an Imagination!

Payton loves to invent, create, build, take apart... anything that has to do with pairing his hands with his imagination.  So when Riley introduced him to modeling clay, his world of creating was immediately expanded.

Birthday Catch-Ups and Minute To Win It Challenges

On April 10th, Payton turned 9... can you believe it? 9.

He invited 5 friends over for a "Minute to Win it" challenge party.  We played a lot of the fun challenge games that they have played on the hit TV show "Minute to Win it."  With 6 total boys, they drew numbers to pair up into 2 person teams and Riley's friend came over so they could be on a team.  The best part was the team names they came up with!  We had the Bad Boys, the Flying Ninja Tsunami Squirrels, Fat Cakes, and the Squat to Pees!  I bet you can't guess which team name the girls picked!

I'll be posting photo highlights of the party soon!
