It has been such a long time since I've been able to post pictures and other uploads to this blog and my photography blog.... but God answers prayers and here I am posting away! Thank you! When we moved to the country this past summer, we knew that it was going to be a little different from our past 1 1/2 yrs of apartment life and even different from Alexandria.... well can I just say that we are so BLESSED??? Things haven't been perfect (we've had our run ins with snakes, mice, bugs, spiders, water running/dripping from the central air unit in our attic, 3 toilets in the house all of which were broken ("now sit down very carefully kids, we don't want any leaning or playing around while using the bathroom"), and a few other things (the last 2 of which are covered under the home warranty the seller purchased for us, only a $100.00 deductable later and viola! we can use all of the toilets - this is another blessing to be thankful for!). But aside from all of that, we are blessed, blessed, blessed! All of our time in the small apartment waiting for our house in Alexandria to sell, was completely worth it!
These are just a few pictures of our surroundings. Jon and I love the fall and all of the beautiful colors, so we couldn't resist a walk to the end of our lane to take a few pictures. I can say a few because I
only took 88, and for me that's a record!
